  • Do you allow Click and Collect in Christchurch?

    Yes, if you are in Christchurch and would like to come up to collect your order I'm in Whaka Tce, Huntsbury Christchurch 8022

    Use the code Otautahi at checkout to remove the courier fee and let me know when you would like to collect it.

  • Processing Timeframes

    In general orders will be processed and couriered within 4-5 days of ordering.

    Ocassionally when it is busy it may take a few extra days to process orders.

    If you need to recieve your order urgently please contact me and I will do my best to assist.

  • WHAT ABOUT A BELL ?

    Cats are so agile that they can move silently, even with a bell, making it an unreliable warning for birds. Your cat can still wear a bell with the cat scrunchie and I sell ones which are lounder than the usual tiny tinkle make by the bells on other cat collars.

  • HOW DOES IT STAY ON ?

    The Cat Scrunchie is designed to be used with a quick-release cat collar (also known as a breakaway or safety collar). Always ensure you use a quick-release collar for your cat’s safety.

  • CAN A CAT TAKE THE SCRUNCHIE OFF?

    If the scrunchie is correctly fitted -NO , however if it isn’t snug enough, your cat may slip it off. A two-finger gap is ideal—a three-finger gap is enough for them to wiggle a paw through and remove it. Always check and adjust the fit once your cat has relaxed.

  • DOES MY CAT'S SIZE MATTER WHEN CHOOSING A CAT SCRUNCHIE?

    Not size, but fluffiness! Our scrunchies come in two sizes: SHORT-haired and LONG-haired. The long-haired version is wider to ensure visibility beyond all that extra fluff.

  • WILL MY CAT MIND WEARING THE SCRUNCHIE ?

    The scrunchie is lightweight, and most cats quickly forget they’re wearing it, especially if they’re already used to a collar. If not give them time to get used to the collar for several days before adding the cat scrunchie.

  • DO I NEED JUST ONE SCRUNCHIE PER CAT?

    I recommend two scrunchies per cat—one to wear and a backup for when it needs cleaning or if lost. Hopefully it will turn up in your garden or be returned by a neighbour (which is why adding your contact details is important). Having a spare ensures your cat stays protected without a gap in use.

  • HOW OFTEN SHOULD I REPLACE THE SCRUNCHIE?

    It depends on your cat! Some cats keep their scrunchie clean and dry, while others may need frequent washing, which affects its lifespan. Replace it if it becomes torn to ensure your cat’s safety. On average, a scrunchie may last around 3-6months, but some cats may need replacements more often.
